Admissions Consultation
Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology is consulting on its school admission arrangements for pupils who will be starting school for the first time in the 2024 autumn term, or changing from one school to another from September 2024. We would welcome your views on our proposed arrangements.
The proposed changes to the arrangements are to amend;
1)The sequencing of the existing admissions criteria moving ‘sibling criteria’ to priority 3 and ‘staff child criteria’ to priority 2
2) Modify the criteria for ‘staff member child’ to read “Priority will next be given to children of staff who work for the Nova Education Trust, in either of the following circumstances: a. The member of staff has been employed by the Trust for 2 or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the school is made, or b. The member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage”.
